i bought an ORIGINAL john deere loader for my john deere and it all fits up perfectly. no modifications or problems to date and it has over 10 years of use. some folks i know have 'aftermarket' imps and loaders and they seem to work fine. your call on this one. as far as the capacity, it's up to the output of the hydraulics that determine lifting ability. check with your dealer service dept about that. each brand is probably different.
