In Reply to: Replacing Bobcat 753 hand / joystick control posted by Matthew on Saturday, December 06, 2008:

I havnt worked on a Bobcat in quite some time, but if i remember right, there are more then one joystick option for 753s. Either cable/rod linkage control or electric control, dual stick drive or single lever drive. depends on which one you got, but ROPS swing up out of the way and its fairly easy to get to all thoses parts without taking alot of bolts loose. If its mechanical its just a matter of replacing the rod or ball joints and adjusting the linkage up so the skidder moves evenly in both directions and doesnt creep when in nuetral positon. electronic control you probably have some faulty/broken wires or a bad joystick control module.
