I have an old 1855 cockshutt and I cant for the life of me figure out how to change high to low range on this beast. It has a single shifter on the floor and a hydromatic over direct under on the side of the dash. Sometimes you shift gears you get high range then low range for a while then high range for I while. Can't figure out if it is connected to the clutch or what?? The dash shows a shift pattern for 1-3 gears and shows a shift pattern for 4-6 under that . Anybody know how to shift ranges??
