These figures are if you want gross HP , but pto HP is about 3-5 HP less than these figures. 8N could be around 20PTO or less and a 9N could be 17HP or less, the only difference I can tell is that around 1949 the 8N went to 6.7 compression ratio instead of the early tractors that had 6.0 compression ratio.
