When I try to start my 5211, I get nothing from the starter. It was fine when I put it in the barn a couple of weeks ago but now, nothing when I try to start it. The battery is fully charged (practically brand new). The ignition circuit seems OK - everything lights up the way it should when I insert my key. But when I push the starter button...nothing - no solenoid clicks like a bad solenoid or low battery; no sparks, no buzzing, no blown fuses; no nothing - just dead silence like there's no current in the starter circuit at all. I pulled the starter switch and checked it. No problems there. I checked the clutch pedal interlock switch, seems to be working fine (mechanically, anyway). Haven't had time to trace the current flow or visually check the nooks and crannies for shorts or hidden loose wires. All the obvious stuff is right. Am I brain dead? Are there any other safety interlocks on this tractor that I'm missing? The way it acts, it seems something is shutting current off before it reaches the starter. I'm baffled - not that that's hard to do. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks, Paul
