i have seen it happen on an old model MM tractor. a man rebuilt the hyd pump himself and when the engine was running the hyd oil was leaking into the engine and filling the engine crankcase. lucky the problem was found before and damege to the hyd pump or engine. a badly installed seal was the problem.
