probably the soleniod valve located between the gas tank discharge and the carb is starting to fail. it's a difficult problem to diagnose on the rt5000. they are expensive little valves. some folks simply bypass it by pulling the hoses and splicing them with a cheap inline gasline fuel filter. i'm not advising you to do this. it's simply something i've heard. best regards
