I'd say that 30 hp diesel would be an absolute minimum. 35 to 40 HP would be better but cost more. It all depends on how fast you want to get these jobs done. Pulling a 3 bottom plow vs. a one bottom plow and a 84" wide disc vs, a 54" wide disk, etc. HP is time saved and lack of HP is time spent.

If I was buying? I'd be looking at Deere, Massey Ferguson, Case, IH, and Kubota utility tractors around 30 to 35 HP. Notice I didn't say compact utility, because I would want the heavier weight of the larger machine for strength in doing loader work and operating a backhoe, and for better traction when plowing the field.
